Bellingham Troublemakers (BTM) delivered  a strong message to our two local Hilton Hotels.
BTM responded to a national call of action against Hilton Hotels. Hilton is a major corporation that is profiting off the pain of people in Minnesota because it has been providing serious material support to ICE by allowing ICE agents to stay in their hotels.

The focus of our action was to have meaningful, connective conversations with members of our community, to draw the connection between Hilton and ICE, explaining the ways that Hilton is colluding with ICE.

A group of about 50 folks entered two different Hilton-owned hotels. A small "delegation" team approached the front desk, flanked by dozens of comrades.

The front desk workers at each hotel were delightful and supportive.  The delegation warmly, politely and respectfully asked to speak (by phone) to the hotel's (off site) general manager, which after some negotiation and waiting...happened!

The delegation spoke to the general manager on speaker phone, delivered the message and demands, before the phone was passed around for all 50 people to say their name and a few words.

Before leaving, the delegation presented the hotel with a letter to the hotel's general manager. Meanwhile, outside each hotel, a team worked out in the cold to project light images on to the side of the building (aka "light projection"):

"Hilton: Kick Out ICE" and "Hilton Profits from ICE"
